- Wednesday, Nov. 26: Transfer Station Closes at 1 pm.
- Thanksgiving Day: Transfer Station Closed.
- Christmas Eve: Transfer Station Closed.
- Christmas Day: Transfer Station Closed.
- New Years Day: Transfer Station Closed.

Alaska Waste provides residential collection services on every holiday in Seward except:
- Day Before Thanksgiving: Office Open. Regular Collection.
- Thanksgiving Day: Office Closed. Collection delayed to Friday, Nov. 29.
- Day After Thanksgiving: Office Open. Regular Collection Schedule.
- Christmas Eve: Office Closed. Collection one day early, on Monday, Dec. 23.
- Christmas Day: Office Closed. Collection delayed one day, to Thursday, Dec. 26. Regular Collection for Thursday and Friday customers.
- New Years Eve: Office Open. Normal Collection Schedule.
- New Years Day: Office Closed. Collection delayed to Thursday, Jan. 2, 2025.
- Jan 2: Regular Collection Schedule.
